I just learned a little about cell salts and was wondering if they are good to take while doing a detox? I want to cleanse my colon and heal my GI track. I recently had a miscarriage and surgery to take the baby out. I also have a cyst. I want to get my body and mind as healthy as I can before we try again to get pregnant. I was also wondering when things heal and feel good should you continue to take cell salts?

Hi Karri, thank you for your query. So sorry to hear about your unfortunate miscarriage and consequent surgery; I think you have the right approach to look after yourself as best possible at this time.
  • Cell salts are really great to take whilst doing a detox, as they help efficient elimination of toxins and healing of tissues at the same time. I'd recommend our Pure Synergy that has the best blend of detoxification salts that also address the epithelial cells of the gut, or you could use the individual ones in it.
  • To cope with your recovery of body and mind, add the Rescue Synergy - this addresses the neuro-endocrine system and also contains salts that help to repair soft tissue.
  • Very often cysts require Calc Fluor and I consider this one very important for the pregnancy too, due to the elasticity requirements. With time, all of these could help the cyst to resorb, but you should follow your doctor's recommendations if it hasn't obliged.
  • I have continued taking cell salts daily for the last 22 years, varying them occasionally as needs change or arise. Once you start learning about and using them. they become such a handy toolkit, that they tend to be the first port of call to keeping vibrant and healthy. I consider them as necessary to the body as the food or water it requires daily. Of course, it is a personal preference as to your health habits; I just notice the difference if I don't use them for a while.

Thank you for your response! Are all of these you recommended good to take while trying to get pregnant and during my pregnancy?

They certainly would be supportive throughout the pregnancy, and I would also recommend the Ferrum Phos , the oxygen carrier that is important for both you and the baby. Although your obstetrician may recommend iron supplements as well, cell salts absorb much more easily and it will assist the absorption of any pregnancy supplements you take.

Karri, the US$ prices can be seen by using the currency converter in the online shop. I'm not sure if you are using a mobile device or tablet, in which case you may need to scroll until you find it, but on a computer it is on the right hand side of the screen. You need to first select US$ and then push the purple 'Change Currency' button.

We do ship to the USA and the airmail postal service has been reliable and efficient, the most cost-effective option. The system calculates that depending on the weight of your order. Please just be aware that if you want to pay using a credit card, you may need to inform your card issuer in advance that you plan to transact in South Africa because it is an unusual spending pattern for you and it seems many US banks block transactions from Africa if you don't. if you use PayPal there is no problem.
