Enamel Hypoplasia was created by lara
Good day,

My 14 month old daughter has severe enamel hypoplasia. Which products do you recommend can assist her to prevent worsening of symptoms?

Kind regards

Hi Lara

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's enamel hypoplasia. It may be challenging to address the already formed teeth at this stage. Hopefully, you can try to improve the situation for the permanent teeth and, with a bit of luck, prevent the condition from deteriorating too much. You need the baby teeth for as long as possible to hold the space for the permanent teeth.

I recommend our Osteo Synergy , which contains the primary constituents for the teeth and skeletal system, and add additional Calc Fluor to nourish the enamel specifically. Crush one tablet of each and rub on the gums or soft tissue of the mouth. Many toddlers will gladly put a finger in the powder and pop it in their mouths on their own. You can use it throughout the day, or in the morning and evening, as part of your toothbrushing routine.

It will be essential to avoid sugar (and carbohydrates that easily convert to sugar) from lingering in the mouth. Fruit juice is also not recommended, especially in a "drip-feeding" situation.

I wish you all the best,
Alison
