Redness in eyes was created by Lana Hindmarch
Hi Alison

Hope you are well.
I'm wondering what salt you would recommend for some mild redness in my son's eyes. It's only ever one eye at a time, for a few days. And then a period of clear eyes and then redness in one eye again, sometimes left, sometimes right.

In January, there was a stage when the whole eye was very very red, even the eyelid, with puffiness underneath. It looked like a stye or pink eye but then it cleared up with some colloidal silver drops. Not sure if there's any connection to the on-off mild redness since then.

Now, just mild redness from time to time. No chorine exposure. And the eyes are not sore, just mildly itchy...but even the itchiness is very occasional.

I've attached a pic. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Thanks,
Lana

Hi Lana

I'm well, thank you and hope you are too.

Generally, the salts that help the eyes are Kali Mur for the soft tissue and Nat Mur for the hydration - wetness, dryness, itchiness etc. Calc Fluor assists with the lens and doesn't seem related to this query.

It seems from what you describe that he has some ongoing sensitivity, and it may be environmental or slowly persisting after the infection in January. You could work with the Immuno Synergy , which contains both of the two above, as well as the anti-inflammatory Ferrum Phos, Calc Sulph cell membrane and Silicea connective tissue conditioners. We often recommend this blend for environmental sensitivities, and it is a good one to be using during this COVID-19 period anyway.

Wishing you and your family the best of health over the lockdown,
Alison

Thanks Alison. I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. I've only just seen your response.
I hadn't ticked the 'notify me of reply' box so I didn't even realise you had responded :-)

Thank you - I have some ImmunoSynergy. I will start with 2 tablets, 3 times a day. Will keep you updated.

Sta well x
