Thank you so much for your advice. As a mom trying to figure the more natural route out on my own, I am so grateful for the guidance!

Good day Alison,
My daughter has been on your recommended protocol for 2 or 3 weeks now and is responding well. However she is currently relapsing again for unrelated reasons (protein in her urine at 3+), if I understand correctly the Calc phos would help with this? What dosage would you recommend I give her to help stop the protein spillage? Thank you

Hi Taryn
Yes, you are correct that it is the Calc Phos to use. I would repeat 2 - 3 tablets at regular intervals - at least five times during the day and monitor it. If there is no change, then increase to hourly or even half-hourly intervals until there is a noticeable shift in direction. At that point, you can gradually reduce the frequency over a day or two, keeping an eye on things until you're able to resume just the maintenance dose.

Good day Alison,
I hope you are well.
Some feedback I gave my daughter the Calc phos every 30 mins for two days but unfortunately there was no change in the protein in her urine. We had to up her meds again.
However she is still doing well on your suggested protocol and your products. She has been on it for a month now and from yesterday I noticed her urine has an incredibly strong ammonia smell. I have tested her urine and no signs of a uti infection or anything else wrong. Is it possible that it's just a detox symptom from the tissue salts? What would you recommend if a uti developed- Ferrum phos and kali mur? Thank you!

Hi Tarryn

Thanks for the feedback and apologies that I wasn't clear about using the meds; I was on leave and answered the question re Calc Phos very briefly. I think you should implement the meds in acute instances of proteinuria increase, especially in these first few months. It can take a while for tissue salt balances to be high enough to correct the levels alone. I would think that increasing the Calc Phos as you did would have helped bring about a quicker, more stable resolution together with the meds.

I think Ferrum Phos and Kali Sulph are probably the best in UTIs, or you could use Ferrum Phos and Pure Synergy. If any fibrous discharge in the urine (looks like tiny fibres), then Kali Mur is indicated. Also, if the doctor recommends antibiotics, please give them in conjunction with the tissue salts and some probiotics.
