Fungal infection

Fungal infection was created by Maria
Hello!
I’ve been using your Ferrum Phos for almost two years now, my husband too. We love and thrive on it! Thank you!
On a different note… My dog has been struggling with a fungus on her vulva and the vet put her on antibiotics plus a topical ointment which we weren’t too happy about. We added a probiotic to her diet. Anyway, it went away for a while but now it’s back. Reddish irritation on the outside which she’s also licking more than usual.
She went back to the vet (a different one) yesterday and she said to just wash and keep it dry.
I’m going to try coconut oil but was wondering if there’s a tissue salt I can use to support the condition?
She’s on very good clean food, and I’ve noticed when we are up at our place in the Cederberg the rash/infection gets worse. She loves running through the bushes and lying on the grass and dirt. A real “plaas meisie”.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi Maria
Thanks so much for the lovely feedback about the Ferrum Phos!
For your plaasmeisie, I'd use the Ferrum as well and add Kali Mur, Kali Sulph, Nat Mur, Nat Phos and Silicea. Instead of all those, you can use the Beauty Synergy and add the Ferrum Phos to make that more manageable. The additional Calc Fluor in the formulation can only help her skin, joints and ligaments if she's such an active girl.
I've also found betadine ointment a lifesaver for all kinds of skin infections, whether fungal, viral, or bacterial. You could consider trying that as well.
I'm a big fan of kefir if you can find a good source and give her a bit with her food. I make it for my dogs and chickens as a routine for their dietary probiotics. In cases of fungal skin infections, it can also be applied directly to the skin.
Please let us know how she gets along.
Best wishes,
Alison
