Hi Alison,

Are there any tissue salts which can help with panic disorder, trauma and macular degeneration?

Could you also advise on the dosing protocol?

Lastly, is it better to take one tissue salt at a time or is it ok to take a few different ones at one shot?

Thank you for your time and kind help.

Blessings,
Clarice

Hi Clarice

Thanks so much for your queries. I'll list tissue salts that would be suitable and think it's best to answer your last question first.

I've found that taking various tissue salts simultaneously works well, which I have done for the past 30 years. Confusion arises when tissue salts are misidentified as homoeopathic rather than biochemic in their action. Classic homoeopathy is concerned about different remedies cancelling each other out. Biochemic tissue salts work because the cells recognise and absorb what they need according to their affinity for the minerals. Hence, we have developed a range of AllisOne Synergies that are popular and effective, making them easier and more cost-effective in many instances.

Panic disorder is often associated with a deficiency of Calc Phos, Kali Phos and Mag Phos; these are all found in the Rescue Synergy.

Rescue Synergy will also help with trauma. I'm not sure if you're referring to emotional and/or physical trauma, but I imagine so because of the query about panic disorder. Adding Kali Mur and Silicea to the three above can help immensely. These can help rebuild both physical and emotional balance. You can add Ferrum Phos and Calc Sulph if a wound needs healing.

Macular degeneration is a complex condition and is usually associated with ageing. Eye health is related to Calc Fluor, Kali Mur, Kali Phos, Kali Sulph, Nat Mur and Silicea. We have received positive reports from people using our Beauty Synergy and Rescue Synergy to improve eye health and vision.

If you want to use the salts individually, I'd suggest starting with:

Calc Fluor - 1 tab 3 times a day
Calc Phos - 2 tabs 3 times a day - additional tablet every 15 minutes if there is a panic episode or PTSD*
Kali Mur - 2 tabs 3 times a day
Kali Phos - 2 tabs 3 times a day - additional tablet every 15 minutes if there is a panic/PTSD episode*
Kali Sulph - 1 tab 3 times a day
Mag Phos - 2 tabs 3 times a day - additional tablet every 15 minutes if there is a panic/PTSD episode*
Nat Mur - 2 tabs 3 times a day
Silicea - 2 tabs 3 times a day

*You can alternate the additional salts every 5 minutes or use them simultaneously.

Alternately:
Beauty Synergy - 1 tab 3 times a day
Rescue Synergy - 2 tabs 3 times a day and an additional tablet every 15 minutes if experiencing panic episodes or PTSD

If any open wound requires healing, add Calc Sulph and Ferrum Phos to either of these protocols.

Wishing you all the best; please reach out again if you need clarification on anything.

Hi Alison,

Thanks so much for your kind help. Yes, you are right. I am referring to emotional trauma.

Just thought of a few additional questions.

1) Are the tissues salts best taken on empty stomach/after food or in between meals?

2) Are the tissues salts safe and effective for long term use? Will the body get used to them and no longer effective? I noticed it happens with some of the supplements that I am taking. They no longer work after some time.

Once again, many thanks for your time and kind help.

Blessings,
Clarice

Hi Clarice

1) Tissue salts are absorbed in the membranes of the mouth and not in the stomach, so the main rule is to have a clean mouth when you take them. Before meals may be better than after, but brushing your teeth or rinsing your mouth afterwards is fine. Between meals works just as well. It's imperative to chew, suck or dissolve them in the mouth for best absorption. I encourage all my client to keep it as simple as possible to fit into their routine. I usually take my salts first thing in the morning, last thing at night, and somewhere in between during the day - I don't often eat lunch, but you can see what works for you.

2) Tissue salts are safe and effective for long-term use. The body always requires tissue salts for metabolism; without them, the food you eat, the water you drink, and the air you breathe can't be adequately absorbed or put to work rebuilding and repairing the cells and tissues. Unlike regular supplements that are molecular in structure and difficult to absorb, tissue salts are mineral energies that the body recognises instantly as its "biofuel". You may find that your need to use them three times a day diminishes with time and that you're coping well with just morning and/or evening doses. See it as if you are overdrawn and paying back interest when there is any stress or symptomatic scenario. In time, you'll build a positive balance and have more energy, enthusiasm and capacity to cope with life. If stress, anxiety or other symptoms start reappearing, it signals that you're overspending your reserves, running on empty and need to fill up more frequently again.

Wishing you all the best in your journey of recovery.

Blessings,
Alison
