Vitilgo in adults

Kindly will you advise on the vitiligo treatment offering for me being 42.

Thank you for your enquiry. It's a complex question that you're asking - I'm sure you're aware that vitiligo is a condition with no particular known cause and is very challenging for medical professionals to treat. Please also bear in mind that we don't 'treat' conditions with tissue salts; our focus is on identifying and replenishing mineral deficiencies, helping to nourish the cells and tissues to function more efficiently.

Generally, vitiligo is understood to be a loss or malfunction of melanocytes (pigment-forming cells), and it is mostly considered an auto-immune disease. Factors that would influence any replacement program include considering where and how much skin is involved, and how quickly the disease progresses and responds to any medication or treatment your doctor may have prescribed for you. Depending on how long it's been there and how severe it is, it could require many months, even years of sustained tissue salt supplementation and we wouldn't be able to promise that any existing patches would disappear; rather hope that you can slow the progression down and keep your existing healthy cells intact. 

We have a  Beauty Synergy blend of tissue salts that are good for conditioning the skin, and possibly add additional Kali Sulph , the primary skincare cell salt. The tissue salt that is responsible for new cell formation is Calc Phos . You could try those for a while, and see how you get along. Still, I suggest at some stage it's an idea to have a proper consultation to properly assess whether any obvious deficiencies could be contributing to it.

It's a pleasure. I didn't mention how many but think you can start using 3 times the recommended maintenance dose on the container (i.e. use 3 tabs twice daily or 2 tabs 3 times daily) of each of them with something as ongoing as vitiligo.

I'd appreciate if you have any feedback after a few months.

Early last year, I imported treatment from India but customs held my order. I couldn't get any medical person sign off the treatment to sahpra. Was doing wonders overseas.

Oh gosh; that's really frustrating.

Our industry has its share of difficulties with SAHPRA and the complementary health regulations too. Products that are safe and have been on the market for years need to have paperwork and testing that suits Schedule 6 drugs. Someone compared it to making a bicycle fit rocketship's production parameters.

I'm really not sure where it's all going to end but think that many smaller companies will just throw in the towel if it comes to the crunch, as the costs and operational dynamics will just not be viable any longer.
