KALI PHOS FOR MUSCLE ATROPHY was created by annelle venter
Good day Allison, I struggled with my health for more than 30 years.  I recently turned 50 and noticed that my beautiful leg/thigh/arm muscles slowly dissapear over the last half year.  I must add that I was an athlete at school but did really exercise since then.  I read up and saw that Kali Phos is good for muscle atrophy.  How would you suggest I take it daily to see any noticeable change.  I don't mind throwing everything at it.

Kind regards

Hi Anelle

I'm not sure what the source of that information is, but generally, there are two main muscle salts. These are Kali Mur and Mag Phos .

Kali Phos is more of a brain and nerve nutrient, so it could play a role if there is some nerve (injury) involvement in muscular atrophy. Silicea is also important as it builds the connective tissue, and Calc Phos is the tissue salt required for creating new cells, cell nutrition and repair. Without it, the body can't digest and utilise dietary protein to build the tissues.

Given the above, you could be better off using Rescue Synergy , which contains all of them. Also, I'm not sure what your 30-year health issue is related to, but those accumulated deficiencies can also play a role.

Additionally, simple weight-bearing exercises are essential for your muscles (and bones). Perhaps an idea to get guidance from a physio or biokineticist for some simple routines and regular walking to carry your body weight, for example.
