Osteoporosis

I have severe osteoporosis - even though I am only 58.  It's in my family .. my sister and I both danced our whole lives yet we have osteoporosis.

I may need to take the traditional meds but don't really want to.

So I was wondering if your one remedy for bones may help to build new bone if I take it every day in conjunction with a specific bone formula remedy from Metagenics.

If I should try the tissue salts, how many should I take a day and do you have any studies on these remedies given to women with osteoporosis.

Hi Elana

I'm very sorry to hear about your severe osteoporosis. We generally work with the Osteo Synergy and additional Calc Phos to help replenish the bone reserves.

If the osteoporosis is already severe, you need to work with about three tabs of each three times a day at least, and it could take a while to slow down the bone loss and turn it around. In addition, the salts will help the assimilation and restoration process of other supplements (or medications) you choose to use.

I don't know of any studies related to tissue salts and osteoporosis. However, many of my clients have used them over the years, and the feedback I've had has been positive. I have also seen speedier bone integration of artificial joints after surgery. Clients, including my mother, reported that their surgeons were surprised that the 6-8 week healing process expectations were reduced to around 4 weeks. 

Some clients also work with Naturone cream. Back in the 1990s or thereabouts, Dr John Lee wrote papers about treating patients who couldn't use HRT medication (often prescribed for osteoporosis) due to pre-existing hormonal cancers benefiting significantly from its use in osteoporosis.
