Ingredients in tissue salts was created by Roxanne
Hi there,

I am new to tissue salts. I have Crohn's disease of the digestive system and need to be sure of all the ingredients in the tissue salts. I have tried the Calc Fluor and it has a sweetish taste - is there a type of sugar like stevia or xylitol? What are the ingredients?

Thank you!

Hi Roxanne

We chose to use a sugar-alcohol base of isomalt, which has proved to be well tolerated over the years. One of our longstanding clients, perhaps 20+ years, has Chron's disease and hasn't had a problem despite regular use. Over the last 5 years I've also used them for my dog with acute hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (similar to ulcerative colitis in humans) and together with L-Glutamine it seems to have resolved. Please take a look at this  2011 blog post  where you can read more, although I'm sure you're very aware of sugar alcohols.

Best wishes
Alison
